Natalie Chase

Natalie Chase

Natalie Chase primarily practices criminal law.  Her goal is to provide outstanding legal representation at a reasonable price.  Ms. Chase is a former prosecutor who knows the legal system well.  While working for the City of Aurora, she tried numerous jury and bench trials over the years. Ms. Chase left the prosecutor’s office to help defend and care for those she did not feel were adequately protected in the legal system.

An experienced criminal defense attorney is what you will get when you hire our firm to represent you.

Ms. Chase began her practice defending the poor. She is a felony criminal lawyer in the Denver area as well as defending misdemeanor cases, including DUI and petty offenses.  Ms. Chase’s career focuses on defending the accused in all jurisdictions, including but not limited to Arapahoe District Court, Arapahoe County Courts, Denver District Court, Denver County Courts, Douglas County Courts, Jefferson County Courts, and Aurora Municipal Courts.  Her experience as a criminal defense attorney in Denver can help you wherever your charges may be.

Natalie Chase is a former prosecutor for the City of Aurora, Colorado.  While working for the City of Aurora, she handled numerous cases, including both jury and bench trials.  Her work included, but was not limited to, conducting trials, holding pre-trial conferences, arguing motions, including suppression motions, handling probation violation cases, and arguing sentencing.

After witnessing numerous instances of clients not being able to afford private attorneys, Natalie Chase decided to do something about it.  She and Kelly Shafer opened their practice in 2006 to help those in need.  Ms. Chase’s goal is to provide the utmost legal representation at a reasonable price.  In some cases, Ms. Chase provides payment plans when appropriate.

Ms. Chase believes everyone accused of a crime deserves a voice.

She works hard to become very familiar with each client and his/her situation and to provide high quality representation.

Some defense attorneys have never seen a criminal case from the state’s point of view.  However, as a former prosecuting attorney, Ms. Chase has the advantage of  predetermining the challenges of the district or city attorney. For example, theft, domestic violence, DUI, and other cases are quite often prosecuted specific ways. Knowing and understanding how the state will build its case is a great advantage when preparing a good defense for her clients.

Ms. Chase, unlike some attorneys, spends a lot of time in preparation for trial. She devotes numerous hours to each case because she truly understands that a client’s freedom and livelihood are at stake.  Beyond jeopardizing one’s freedom, the outcome can mean the loss of a home, job, and social strata.

When you need to go to trial, you must be sure that your attorney is experienced and ready to fight for you in court.
